Alexandra Pittman, CEO, ImpactMapper
Alexandra Pittman, PhD stands at the forefront of building impact technology and storytelling for social justice, human rights, and sustainability. As the Founder and CEO of ImpactMapper, she and her team have developed a groundbreaking software tool empowering donors, nonprofits, corporates, and impact investors to track, visualize and optimize their social impact funding and activities, while leveraging ethical AI tools. She is also the Founder of Havn Hus, a retreat center for impact leaders and changemakers in the Norwegian fjords. Throughout her dynamic career, Alexandra has cultivated partnerships and advised global influencers and changemakers, including teams at UNDP, Spotlight Initiative, UNFPA, IKEA, Chanel Foundation, Cartier Women's Initiative, Meta, Malala Fund, Oxfam, Porticus, Winthrop Rockefeller Fund, to name a few. Her strategic guidance has helped organisations crystallise their values, articulate their goals, and more effectively track and communicate their impact stories and data. Alexandra received her PhD from Boston College in Sociology and Cultural Psychology and an EdM from Harvard University in International Education Policy. She also held a Senior Research Fellow position at Harvard University's Hauser Center for Nonprofits. She was named an innovative tech founder in sustainability by Entrepreneur magazine. She also is part of multiple angel investment networks, including WIN Ventures 1 and II in Norway, supporting women's investment and entrepreneurship.
