Computational linguist with a PhD, specialized in speech technology and machine translation for marginalized languages. As lead computational linguist at CLEAR Global, he develops AI-based language technology for humanitarian and development contexts, working with data-scarce languages including Hausa, Kanuri, Swahili, Tigrinya, and Kinyarwanda.
