    Audrey Lorvo is a Policy Associate for AI at J-PAL Global, where she supports Project AI Evidence, an initiative focused on evaluating and scaling transformative applications of artificial intelligence in development programs. Her work sits at the intersection of AI, evidence, and poverty alleviation, helping ensure that emerging technologies are used responsibly and effectively to maximize social benefit. With a background in computer science, economics, and data science from MIT, and experience in AI safety and governance, she focuses on how AI systems can be aligned with human values, improve decision-making, and support more equitable development outcomes.
