Kaiyan is the Deputy Director of Strategic Partnerships at Viamo, where he helps partners across the globe design and deploy Generative AI (GenAI) and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions that expand access to information through basic mobile phones. He has led the launch of GenAI projects in Tanzania, Pakistan, Malawi, and other countries, advancing impact in mental health, women’s economic empowerment, health, disaster preparedness, and financial inclusion. Prior to Viamo, Kaiyan worked on USAID-funded economic growth initiatives supporting small businesses to adopt digital tools and improve livelihoods. He is an expert in innovation, strategy, and digital inclusion, with a focus on using technology to bridge access gaps for underserved communities.
