Robbie Phillips works at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), where he focuses on the responsible use of emerging technologies in international development. He has been part of FCDO’s work with the Frontier Tech Hub exploring how large language models can help development professionals access, synthesize and apply evidence from large volumes of public development data. Robbie has helped shape pilots examining how AI can support better policy and programming decisions, while also contributing to wider learning on safe, practical and inclusive AI adoption in the development sector.
